Scheduled to take place at Battersea Evolution from 24th to 27th October, The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Festival is excited to announce their first guest speaker, Sir Ranulph Fiennes OBE. Making an appearance at the show on Friday 25 th October, Sir Ranulph will host an intimate speaker session for travel enthusiasts, followed by a book signing. Known as ‘the world’s greatest living explorer’, Sir Ranulph will be on hand to inspire guests with a multitude of incredible stories that are sure to excite travellers and encourage them to book their next winter sports adventure.
Best-known for his epic expeditions, 2019 marks ten years since Sir Ranulph became the first Briton to summit Everest. As the first man to reach both poles and the author of 23 books including The Daily Telegraph’s UK bestseller The Feather Men, Sir Ranulph is a true advocate for adventure travel and will grant visitors to the show exclusive access into his world of intrepid travel, inspiring guests with stories from a lifetime of exploration.
Sir Ranulph commented, “I am pleased to be the first speaker at this year’s Ski and Snowboard Festival. I have been leading expeditions worldwide for 50 years and look forward to attending the event, alongside the Telegraph’s Ski and Snowboard experts and selection of exhibitors.
